Lot Charges

The Lot Charges option allows additional charges to be added to the value of lots in inventory. A recurring monthly storage charge or an additional acquisition cost that was not entered on the purchase order are two examples of additional charges. These added charges may be in the form of journal entries through defined cost adjustment types or vouchers for vendor charges.

Lot charges can only be added to lotted type items with an on-hand balance that is not on inventory hold.
